Car & General has introduced electric three wheelers in the Kenyan market. The ceremony took place at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi. Two versions, Piaggio Ape E-City FX Max for passenger segment and Ape E-Xtra FX Max for cargo were unveiled. The event was also used to celebrate 20 years of partnership between C&G and Piaggio.
For your happy retirement: Elizabeth Olwande turned a new page in her life upon her retirement after 38 years of continuous and dedicated service to Car & General, having been employed in 1985. Above, Liz, as she was fondly referred to by colleagues, receives her retirement award from Vijay Gidoomal, the CEO of Car & General during a breakfast hosted in her favour.
Car and General Trading Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kingdom Bank in order to align with market dynamics related to asset finance. This partnership aims to provide support to our clients in their asset acquisition endeavors. Kingdom Bank, known for offering a diverse range of banking products and financial solutions, will collaborate with Car and General Trading Limited in this endeavor.

Car and General seeks to use Kisumu as a pilot county to explore electric vehicles opportunities especially two and three wheelers as the county strives to adopt clean energy technologies. The County Government of Kisumu is keen on leasing as opposed to purchase of farm and construction machineries. In view of this, we look forward to working with them and other interested partners in the areas of agriculture and construction.
The Car & General Voi team visited Tumaini children’s home situated in Ikanga area of Taita Taveta. The home hosts 76 children between the ages of 3 years to 18 years. Majority of these children are either orphaned or abandoned.
The Car & General Voi team carried with them some food and supplies. They spent time with the children, expressing care, and giving comfort to the orphans. They also spent some time talking to the teenagers, encouraging them to be people of integrity and to work hard at school.
